Wohooooooooooo! Read about it here.
I'm going to keep this post short, because really... I don't have a whole lot to say... except..
I'M EXCITED! This is going to be my first Singles Tournament! 5 games, 2 days. Oh, man!
I'll of course be covering all of my games (but only if they are fun!) and taking pictures with my lovely camera. I'm expecting to see a lot of cool armies and at the same time I have no idea what to expect.. at all. Never been to Rock-Con and I don't know anyone who has ever attended it, but apparently it is an ancient convention, so I'm not sure if there will be a lot of veterans, tough opponents or just hobbyists who are going to use the Tournament as a way to dust off their old armies..
What army will I be running? SPACE WOLVES, of course.
At 1850 points my list is pretty much a copy of the miniatures I painted for Adepticon 2011's Team Tournament (remember, I painted half of my teams minis and got to keep them). Now, I am not used to playing 1850 with.. any army. It's not that big of a deal, though since I usually play 2,000 point games and I have played a few 1,750 games here and there. Basically, 1850 level Space Wolves are something I don't have a lot of experience with, so this will be a nice way to give it a shot.
I had to change a few things and then mix and match some other things, because models have to be painted and based and unfortunately I never got around to painting my Wolf Guard. So unfortunately the army will be carrying less power fists than usual. My list is the classical Rhino Rush - 4 Rhinos with Grey Hunters, sprinkled with everyone's favorite meltas, wolf banners and Marks of the Wulfen. And then a Rune Priest and some Long Fangs... and Thunderwolf Cavalry lead by Skarvald the Troll-faced.
Alright. That's it for now. More when I'm back.
In the mouth of the wolf!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to hearing how this turns out.
